Asirvad Development Foundation has organized Free Eye Screening and Dental treatment camp for the rural people of Othikadu village to bring this noble activity to the general population. The camp was conducted at Panchayat Office, Othikadu village, Tiruvallur District. Camp was well organized by Asirvad Development Foundation staff Ms.A.D.Nundiyny and Ms. Maithili Vincent.

Othikadu village is located 8 km from Tiruvallur bus stand. The village is lacking even basic amenities likes Toilets, Drinking water and Electricity. The camp was very much helpful to the poor and needy people. People requested us for holding camps in future and camp for their neighborhood villages also.

Eye screening camp was conducted in association with Uma Eye Clinic; Annanagar. Medical team headed by Dr.Louica and his team members consisting of Chief Optometrist Mr.Vimal, Ms.Nithya, Counselor Mr.Manoj and Camp Manager Mr.Arvind. The Dental camp was conducted in association with Sri Ramachandra Medical University, Sri Ramachandra Dental College, porur, Chennai headed by Dr.Sruthi, Dr.Bharath and his team members.

Totally 154 participants were benefited out of this camp. Camp was arranged with the help of Mr.E.Manavalan and coordinated by Mr.Loganathan who helped us to conduct the camp successfully.
