The 10th free eye screening camp of Chennai Division AMPL was organized successfully in Thiruvottiyur, Chennai AMPL branch office. The Camp was done in association with Vision foundation, Chennai with their Medical team of 6 members. Vision Foundation headed by Dr. Gayathri, Mr. Dhanraj, Chief camp Manager, Mr. Arvind, Camp Manager and Optometrist, Mr. Balaji and Ms. Nithya represented Uma Eye Clinic for conducting the camp. The total number of participants was 131 people from the beneficiaries of AMPL and the general Public. Mostly, the beneficiaries of the camp were from the members of Asirvad Microfinance Pvt Ltd, Thiruvottiyur Branch Chennai and their relative and neighbors of members from the surrounding area. The camp was organized with the help of AMPL - Area Manager Mr. Nethaji and Branch Manager of Thiruvottiyur, Mr. Chelladurai co-ordinated the camp along with the Field development Officers of Thiruvottiyur Branch, Mr. G. Vinoth, Mr. M. Vinoth, Mr. Karthick, Mr. Ganesh , Mr. Jaypaul and Mr. Santhosh. They served the camp as volunteers.

Asirvad Development Foundation (ADF) is committed to organize free health screening camps. Asirvad Development Foundation has organized free health screening camp for Beneficiaries of AMPL, school students, slum dwellers and disadvantaged people of our society.

The Camp was organized at Community Hall, Kargil Nagar, Tiruvotriyur, Chennai. Most of the beneficiaries of AMPL were living in the surrounding area where proper medical facility was not available. Camp was well organized by Asirvad Development Foundation staff Ms. A.D.Nundiyny and Ms. Maithili

Eye screening camp was done in association with Uma Eye Clinic; Annanagar. Medical team headed by Dr.Louisa and his team members consisting of Chief Optometrist Mr Vimal, and Optometrist Assistant Mr.David.

The total number of participants was 125, participant from the beneficiaries of AMPL and general community. The participants are very much interested to bring their friends and relatives for the free eye check- up. Camp was arranged with the help of Mr.Udhyamuthu Branch Manager AMPL and coordinated by Mr.Nagarathinam Field Development Officer (FDO) gave their utmost co-operation and helped ADF to conduct the camp successfully.
