Gradually AMPL Beneficiaries are getting better awareness about our Foundation’s free eye screening camp in and around Madurai region. This week’s camp was successfully organized in Sivakasi branch of Asirvad Microfinance Pvt Ltd (AMPL) in association with Dr. Anilkumar’s eye hospital, Sivakasi. An eight member Medical team headed by Dr. Anilkumar, Optometrist (Ms. Jansirani) and Counselor, Ms. Arokiya Roselin conducted the camp for us. The total numbers of participants were 170 patients comprising of beneficiaries of AMPL and the general community. The camp was organized with the co-ordination of AMPL’s Area manager Mr. Ramaswamy Pandiyan and Mr. Mahendran, Sivakasi Branch Manager. The Field Development Officers of Sivakasi Branch, served as volunteers during the camp.

Asirvad Development Foundation (ADF) has organized a free eye screening camp in Sivakasi South branch, one of the branches of Asirvad Microfinance Pvt Ltd (AMPL) Chennai – Madurai Division. It was on the 28th May 2011 and the camp was well organized by Asirvad Development Foundation (ADF) Co-ordinator Mr. Sekaran, based in Madurai.

Free eye screening camp was in collaboration with Dr. Anil Kumar Eye Hospital, Sivakasi. Camp Medical team led by Dr. Anil Kumar and his team members Chief Optometrist Mrs. Roslin and Optometrist Assistant performed the camp for us. The total numbers of participants were 266 people from beneficiaries of AMPL Sivakasi South Branch, general community and the relatives of the beneficiaries from the surrounding area.

Camp arranged with the help of AMPL’s Area Manger Mr. Mahendran. G. K and ably coordinated by the branch manager Mr. M. Senthil. The Field Development Officers mobilized the crowd and helped us to conduct the camp successfully.
