Asirvad Development Foundation has organized a free eye screening camp for Asirvad Microfinance Pvt. Ltd (AMPL) beneficiaries on the 28th May 2011. The Camp was arranged in the AMPL Royapettah branch office. Camp was co-ordinated by the Asirvad Development Foundation (ADF) staff members.
Eye screening camp was associated with Uma Eye Clinic, Annanagar. Medical team led by Dr. Muruganatham and his team member performed the camp for us successfully. The medical team members were Chief optometrist Mr. Vimal and optometrist assistant Ms. Charumathy and Counselor Mr. Manoj. The total number of participants was 41 patients from beneficiaries of AMPL and the general community. The beneficiaries of the camp were from the members of Asirvad Microfinance Pvt Ltd, Royapettah Branch Chennai and their relatives.
Camp systematized with the help of AMPL’s Divisional Manger Mr. N.R.K Rajasekaran. The Camp was co-ordinated by the branch manager of AMPL Royapettah branch, Mr. Vinoth Stalin. The Field Development Officers (FDOs) of the branch mobilized the crowd and Served as volunteers during the camp.
