AMPL – Chennai Division’s ninth free eye screening camp was organized successfully in Mogappair, Chennai at the AMPL branch office on 19th February 2011. Asirvad Development Foundation (ADF) in association with Vision foundation,Chennai with their Medical team of 6 members organized the camp. Vision Foundation, a unit of Uma Eye Clinic, chennai headed by Dr.Gayathri - Ophthalmologist, Mr.Dhanraj, Chief Camp Manager, Mr.Manoj - Counselor,Mr.Arvind - Camp Manager and Optometrists Mr.Vimal and Ms.Jayanthiwere members of the medical team.

The total number of participants benefited during the camp was 131 people. The beneficiaries of the camp were from the members of Asirvad Microfinance Pvt Ltd, Mogappair Branch, Chennai and their relativesfrom the nearby areas. Thecamp was organized with the support of AMPL – Chennai Division’s Area Manager Mr.Ramesh and Branch Manager Mr. Sathishkumar. The Field Development Officers of Mogappair Branch,–Mr.Vijay, Mr.Gandhinathan, Mr.Sathishkumarand Mr.Murugan served as volunteers during the camp.

Chennai based Public Welfare Trust; Asirvad Development Foundation (ADF) has organized a free eye screening camp forthe beneficiaries of Asirvad Microfinance Pvt.Ltd. (AMPL)Chennai.TheCamp was arrangedon the 11th June 2011 in the AMPL’sMogappairbranch. The Camp was well organized by Asirvad Development Foundation staff members.

This free Eye screening camp was associated with Uma Eye Clinic,Annanagar,Chennai. The Camp Medical team led by Dr.Muruganatham along his team members wasthe Optometrist Mr. Mohammed Ziya&Mr. Madhanand Counselor Mr.Manoj. The total number of participants was 52 people from beneficiaries of AMPL and the general community. The beneficiaries of the camp were the members of Asirvad Microfinance Pvt Ltd, Mogappairbranch, Chennai division and their relatives from the suburbs.

Camp was co-ordinated well with the help of AMPL’s Divisional Manger Mr. Rajasekaran and supported by the AMPL’s MogappairBranch Manager Mr.Sasikumar. TheField Development Officers (FDOs) of AMPL, Mogappairbranch mobilized the patients and Served as volunteers during the camp.
